Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and care for construction equipment and machines.

• Help equipment operators, carpenters and other skilled labor when necessary.

• Prepare construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.

• Load/unload construction materials.

• Follow instructions from supervisors and assist craft workers.

• Attend on-the-job training when necessary and perform site clean-up.

• Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Maintenance & Testing: Perform routine preventive maintenance, such as checking battery fluid levels, specific gravity, and voltage, and cleaning battery terminals.

  • Replacement & Repair: Assist with installing new batteries and replacing, cleaning, or repairing battery cells, cables, and interconnector components.

  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations regarding the handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous battery materials.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of testing results, charging activity, and maintenance tasks.

  • Diagnostics: Assist in diagnosing battery issues and testing battery systems to determine if they meet specifications

  • Battery Technician Assistant supports senior technicians by maintaining, testing, and replacing batteries (industrial, automotive, or lithium-ion) to ensure optimal performance. Key duties include routine cleaning, charging, diagnostic testing, handling inventory, and adhering to strict safety protocols. This entry-level role often requires basic electrical knowledge, technical skills, and manual dexterity

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is below 10th and 0 - 6 months of experience. Candidates applying for the position must be at least 18 years of age. The role requires physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks to be performed in all weather. Dependability and timely attendance are essential.
