Role Summary:

We are looking for a Data Scientist with banking experience to build models that help the bank cross-sell and up-sell products to customers. The person will work directly at the bank’s Andheri office.

Responsibilities:

? Build and improve propensity models for cross-sell and up-sell. ? Analyze customer data to find patterns and opportunities. ? Work with large banking datasets and ensure the data is clean and accurate. ? Work with business teams to understand requirements and provide insights. ? Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present findings. ? Test and improve model performance regularly.

Skills Required

? 4–7 years of experience as a Data Scientist within Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance domains. ? Strong experience in Customer Analytics, Cross-Sell, Up-Sell, Propensity Modeling, Customer Segmentation, and Marketing Analytics. ? Hands-on expertise in Python, SQL, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, and Machine Learning frameworks. ? Experience working with large-scale customer and transaction datasets. ? Strong understanding of Supervised and Unsupervised Machine Learning techniques. ? Experience building classification, recommendation, propensity, and predictive models. ? Strong data storytelling and stakeholder communication skills. ? Ability to work directly with business teams and convert business requirements into analytical solutions Good to Have ? Experience with Banking Products such as Credit Cards, Loans, CASA, Deposits, Wealth Management, Insurance, or Digital Banking. ? Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. ? Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools. ? Knowledge of MLOps, model deployment, and monitoring frameworks. ? Experience working in customer growth, marketing analytics, CRM analytics, or campaign optimization initiatives.
