Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

Primary Skills:
- Understanding of core Azure services, Azure pricing, SLAs, and lifecycle. - Familiarity with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Azure CLI, and PowerShell.
- Experience in creating and managing build and release pipelines using Azure DevOps. - Knowledge of YAML and classic pipelines. - Integration with other CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- Proficiency with Git and repositories in Azure Repos or GitHub. - Branching and merging strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or ARM templates. - Managing environments and configurations.
- Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights. - Knowledge of monitoring tools like Appdynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus and Grafana etc.,
- Intermediate skills in managing Windows Server and Linux distributions - Understanding of system administration tasks such as user management, file permissions, and system updates. - Familiarity with Windows PowerShell for automation and Linux shell scripting (Bash).
