Business Analyst – Finance Domain

Location: Airoli, Navi Mumbai
Experience: 5 Years
Work Mode: Work from Office (WFO)

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from Finance stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain BRDs and FRDs.
• Conduct requirement-gathering sessions and workshops with business users.
• Analyze As-Is and To-Be finance processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for technical teams.
• Work closely with development, QA, project management, and Finance teams.
• Support UAT, functional validation, defect tracking, and issue resolution.
• Prepare process flows, use cases, and functional specifications.
• Analyze financial data using SQL, Power BI, and Excel.
• Create reports, dashboards, and data-driven insights for Finance stakeholders.
• Act as a bridge between Finance stakeholders and Technology teams.

Required Skills

• 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Strong experience in the Finance Domain.
• Hands-on experience preparing BRD and FRD.
• Strong requirements gathering and business process analysis skills.
• Good understanding of Finance processes such as GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Financial Reporting.
• Good working knowledge of SQL, Power BI, and Advanced Excel.
• Experience with UAT, functional testing, and defect management.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Good to Have

• Experience with SAP / Oracle Financials / ERP systems.
• Experience in Finance transformation, automation, or system implementation projects.
• Knowledge of reporting and data visualization.
