Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Java Developer to join our core engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building high-performing, scalable, and secure backend services. You should be capable of owning features end-to-end, mentoring junior developers, and contributing to architectural decisions in a microservices-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

Feature Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java (JDK 17/21) and Spring Boot

Microservices Architecture

• Build and manage microservices-based systems
• Ensure seamless communication using message brokers like Kafka

API Development

• Design and maintain RESTful APIs
• Implement API documentation using OpenAPI/Swagger

Database Management

• Write and optimize complex SQL queries
• Work with Hibernate/JPA for data persistence
• Manage databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL

Performance Optimization

• Identify performance bottlenecks
• Optimize JVM performance, memory usage, and concurrency

Technical Requirements

Core Java

• Strong understanding of Java (JDK 17/21)
• Collections, Multithreading, Streams API, CompletableFuture

Frameworks

• Spring Boot
• Spring Security (JWT)
• Spring Data

Microservices

• Service Discovery
• API Gateway

Testing

• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD)

CI/CD & Tools

• GitLab CI/CD
• Git
• Linux/Unix environments
