Role Overview: We are looking for a Junior Java Developer with 6 months to 2 years of experience to join our development team. The candidate should have a good understanding of Core Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs and SQL, and be willing to learn and work on real-world software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Work on REST APIs and understand HTTP methods and status codes.
• Write clean, maintainable and efficient Java code.
• Work with SQL databases, queries, joins and indexes.
• Understand and implement object-oriented programming concepts.
• Debug issues and fix application defects.
• Work with the development team to understand requirements and deliver assigned tasks.
• Follow coding standards, development practices and version-control processes.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Continuously learn and improve Java and Spring Boot development skills.

Required Skills:

• 6 months – 1 year of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Good knowledge of Core Java and OOP concepts.
• Understanding of Spring Boot and dependency injection.
• Basic knowledge of REST APIs and HTTP/HTTPS.
• Understanding of HashMap, HashSet, String, StringBuilder and StringBuffer.
• Knowledge of exception handling in Java.
• Basic understanding of JPA/Hibernate.
• Good understanding of SQL, including joins, indexes, normalization and basic query optimization.
• Basic knowledge of Git/version control.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
