Urgent Hiring: Media Lab Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Media Lab Coordinator to manage media production facilities and support academic programmes through professional multimedia content creation. The ideal candidate has hands-on expertise in photography, videography, audio-video production, Adobe Creative Suite and AI-powered content creation tools, along with experience producing podcasts and vodcasts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the day-to-day operations, technical requirements and maintenance of the media lab and production equipment.
- Produce and manage podcasts and vodcasts for academic programmes, faculty interactions, expert interviews and institutional initiatives.
- Handle photography, videography, video editing, audio recording, lighting and post-production.
- Create engaging multimedia content, including promotional videos, reels, interviews, digital graphics and educational content.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects and Audition.
- Use AI-powered content creation tools such as ElevenLabs, Canva and other relevant applications to enhance media production.
- Support faculty members and students in using media lab equipment, software and production facilities.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Strong practical knowledge of photography, videography, audio-video production and editing.
- Hands-on experience in podcast and vodcast production, including studio setup and recording.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and AI-based content creation tools.
- Familiarity with audio recording equipment, cameras, lighting systems, microphones and editing workstations.
- Strong organisational, coordination, troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and support academic and institutional media projects.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in media production, studio operations or multimedia content creation.
- Postgraduate qualification in Media, Mass Communication, Journalism or a related discipline.
