Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Node.js Full Stack Developer responsible for the development, deployment, and maintenance of scalable web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, Express, and databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, Redis, and ElasticSearch, along with experience in cloud environments (AWS/GCP). You will play a key role in both backend development and integration with frontend technologies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Application Design & Development
Develop efficient, reusable, and testable code using Node.js, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Redis, and AWS.
Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
Integrate front-end components with server-side logic.
Generate and maintain API documentation using Swagger.
Take ownership of full-stack architecture, development, and deployment.
2. Code Optimization & Maintenance
Write clean, maintainable code with proper version control (Git/GitHub/Bitbucket/GitLab).
Optimize application performance and resource usage.
Perform regular code reviews and cleanups.
Monitor and enhance server response times and resource utilization.
3. Unit Testing & Quality Assurance
Implement automated testing using Mocha, Chai.js, Jasmine.js, and Cypress.js.
Perform sanity and cross-device compatibility checks.
Maintain comprehensive test cases and drive test-driven development.
4. Deployment & Monitoring
Deploy and monitor applications using Firebase, AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Use tools like PM2 for logs and error tracking.
Implement security best practices and ensure application resilience.
Use crash analytics tools to detect and resolve issues quickly.
5. Reporting & Collaboration
Generate and share MIS reports.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones.
Ensure timely completion of tasks and effective communication across teams.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Time-to-deploy for new features/applications.
Code review quality and defect rates post-deployment.
Application performance metrics (response time, load handling).
Code coverage and test case effectiveness.
Deployment success rates and incident resolution times.
Accuracy and timeliness of reports and collaboration outcomes.
Job Specifications
Must-Have Skills
Strong proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, and Express.js
Hands-on experience with MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Redis, and MySQL
Understanding of asynchronous programming and server-side logic
Experience integrating multiple data sources and APIs
Familiarity with Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket
Basic knowledge of server-side templating and RESTful API development
Preferred (Bonus) Skills
Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization
Exposure to Firebase tools and PM2 monitoring
