Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer with over 5 years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products across web, API, and backend services. Experience with Performance, Scalability, and Reliability (PSR) testing is a strong advantage. You will work closely with cross-functional Agile teams including developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using frameworks like Selenium WebDriver, JUnit/TestNG, and languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, Swagger, or SoapUI.
• Identify, document, and manage defects using issue tracking systems such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or Bugzilla.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate closely with the development team to ensure test coverage and quality.
• Execute different testing types including Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Integration, and End-to-End testing.
• Maintain clear and concise test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• (Optional) Support Performance and Load Testing efforts using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or k6.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.
• Solid experience in Manual Testing (Functional, UI, Regression, Sanity, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with test automation using tools/frameworks such as:
• Selenium WebDriver
• JUnit, TestNG, or NUnit
• Java, Python, or C# for scripting
• Proficient in API Testing with tools like Postman, Swagger, or REST Assured.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and participation in Sprint activities.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.

Preferred / Optional Skills:

• Experience with Performance Testing tools:
• JMeter, LoadRunner, BlazeMeter, or k6.
• Exposure to Scalability and Reliability testing concepts.
• Familiarity with Cloud Platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
