About the Role

We are looking for a passionate QA Engineer (Manual Automation) with strong experience in testing web/mobile applications, writing automation scripts, and validating data & functional workflows. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing and be capable of delivering high-quality products with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications (functional, UI, regression, smoke, integration).

• Design and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans based on requirements.

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools/frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, or similar.

• Execute test automation suites, analyze results, and report defects.

• Conduct data validation and functional validation for APIs, databases, and backend processes.

• Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Trello, or similar.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other team members in an Agile environment.

• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of releases.

• Participate in review meetings and contribute to test process improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2 years of experience in both manual and automation testing.

• Strong knowledge of Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, or similar frameworks.

• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.

• Proficient in writing SQL queries for data validation.

• Experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured preferred).

• Ability to create clear and comprehensive test documentation.

• Good understanding of functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.

• Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions—good to have).

• Excellent communication and remote-work discipline.

Good to Have

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology

• Knowledge of any programming language used in automation (Java/Python/JavaScript)

• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, LambdaTest)
