Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our US accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, hands-on experience with QuickBooks, and excellent English communication skills. This role requires prior team management experience and a strong understanding of US accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations for US clients.
Maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger management.
Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
Oversee bookkeeping tasks and ensure timely data entry in QuickBooks.
Handle client communications and provide timely financial updates and reports.
Lead and mentor a team of junior accountants.
Ensure timely month-end and year-end closures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for audits and compliance-related matters.
Key Requirements:
Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
Strong command of QuickBooks (mandatory).
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Prior experience in team handling/people management.
Sound understanding of US accounting standards and taxation is a plus.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a night shift environment.
