Job Title: Tech Lead – Python & Angular
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead with strong expertise in Python and Angular to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on coding experience, strong architectural knowledge, and the ability to mentor engineers and drive technical decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using Python and Angular.
Provide technical leadership across the full software development lifecycle.
Design and develop robust RESTful APIs and backend services using Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
Build responsive and maintainable front-end applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
Define application architecture, coding standards, design patterns, and best practices.
Conduct code reviews and ensure high standards of code quality, security, and performance.
Mentor developers and provide technical guidance to the engineering team.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive root-cause analysis.
Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
Work with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, containers, and modern DevOps practices.
Identify opportunities for performance optimization, automation, and process improvement.
Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend appropriate tools and frameworks.
Required Skills
8 years of software development experience, with relevant experience in technical leadership.
Strong hands-on expertise in Python.
Strong experience with Angular and TypeScript.
Strong knowledge of Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
Excellent understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
Strong knowledge of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
Experience with Git and modern software development practices.
Good understanding of Docker, CI/CD, and cloud technologies.
Strong knowledge of software design principles, design patterns, and system architecture.
Experience with unit testing, automated testing, and code quality tools.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring abilities.
Preferred Skills
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
Experience with Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience designing highly available and scalable systems.
Exposure to application security and performance engineering.
Experience working with AI/ML integrations or modern AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
