JOB DESCRIPTION

• Working experience across the financial or banking sector for at least 10 years in roles relevant to the understanding and management of an asset management architecture
• Knowledgeable in Cloud services including Databases (Azure SQL, PostgreSQL), Caching, Object and Block Storage, Scaling, Load Balancers, Networking etc
• Work across Asset Management to review requirements, ensuring fit for purpose solutions with high levels of security, scalability, and performance.
• Drive the next phase of our enterprise architecture and data architecture. Ensure the architecture of solutions is aligned to business and IT requirements
• Experience of Architecture patterns such as event driven design, microservices, data mesh etc. Understanding of security best practices, including encryption, firewalls, and identity management
• Proven development experience including engineering best practices
• Play a part in the wider collective management of technology. Based on significant relevant industry experience, develop the architecture agenda and help to drive simplification, efficiency and effectiveness
• Maintain high-level design documents, architectural standards, and other technical documentation aware of business continuity and disaster recovery concepts
